Mi Ciénaga crosses the pond
I set up this new section, just for fun, just for practice. Almost two years ago, here I showed up with only a couple of English expressions and some forgotten English courses done in my background.
All along this time I’ve been lucky and I could work as a Spanish teacher at the same time I improved my English as an ESL (English as Second Language) student. When the teachers supposed me ready enough (?) I had to look for other ways to improve my English. Then I was hired as a cashier at Target. That job was incredibly boring and repetitive but also interesting because of tons of English conversations.
So, here we are. New blog, new language. And now, what? Mi Ciénaga cruza el charco or maybe Mi Ciénaga crosses the pond?

This is a great effort of yours, Mariano, “crossing the pond”… or should I say “bridging the pond”- because that’s what you are doing in a way- bridging two cultures of understanding together through your website, both Spanish and American.
